Overview

Your satisfaction with your order is our number one goal! If you are not satisfied with the quality of your meat or if you have a specific problem or complaint, please contact us right away at info@svecfarm.com or 605-873-4770 to address your issue.

Please be aware that grassfed, grass-finished beef and lamb are specialty food items. We believe our meat is both nutritious and delicious; however, taste is subjective and not everyone enjoys the bolder flavor of grassfed meat. We are not able to refund orders in the case of not liking the flavor of the meat. We encourage you to begin with a small order to see if you like the taste of our meat before committing to a larger order.

We do not currently ship our orders. Our meat is only available for local pickup in southeastern South Dakota in the towns of Estelline, Brookings, and Sioux Falls. If you mistakenly order our meat with the assumption of it being shipped or delivered to you in another area, we can refund your order minus a 15% restocking fee.

If you order meat and have not picked it up and your circumstances have changed, we can refund your order minus a 15% restocking fee. Meat that has been picked up is not available for a refund.

Please be aware that items sold as “clearance” and “seconds” may be sold with some obvious flaws such as: older harvest dates, light or heavy frosting on the meat, discoloration of the meat, small holes or dings in the packaging, or loss of vacuum seal on the packaging. These items cannot be refunded for quality concerns.

Orders placed from the Farm Shop should be picked up within 30 days. Orders placed as Buy A Share should be picked up within 30 days of receipt of the invoice for the balance of the meat. After 30 days, we will charge a storage fee of $1 per pound per month.

Refunds

If you qualify for a refund, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within ten days.

If you paid via cash or check, we will mail you a check within ten days of a qualifying refund.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
